The fourth episode of Game of Thrones is called Cripples, Bastards, and Broken Things and now that the series has ended, the stories, trials and experiences of many of the characters offer lessons we can glean for those of us who today feel like the '‘broken things.” Many, most characters faced adversity, but five main characters endured life-changing trauma with lasting effects - Tyrion Lannister, Bran Stark, Jaime Lannister, Sansa Stark and Theon Greyjoy.

I listen to podcasts all the time. When I’d like distraction in my mind from the discomfort in my body, I prefer to just lay back and listen. And there is SO much excellent content out there. After her triumphant night Sunday night at the Academy Awards, I wanted to repost my take on her documentary Five Foot Two on Netflix, which I originally wrote in October 2017. This film is astonishing, and very much worth watching.
I love love love this city! I joke it's because I like white marble. There's a lot of that here! I do like what the white marble represents - ideals, Rome and politics. I also love discussing politics with the smartest cab drivers anywhere.
